V. IS THE
SABBATH JUST FOR THE JEWS?
- GALATIANS 3:
- 28 "There is neither Jew nor
Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor
female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus."
- 29 "And if ye be Christ´s,
then are ye Abrahamªs seed, and heirs according to the
promise."
- ROMANS 2:
- 28 "For he is not a Jew, which is
one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the
flesh:"
- 9 "But he is a Jew, which is one
inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and
not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God."
- NOTE:
- When the Jews failed as a nation to follow
God´s will; God turned to His church, started by the disciples.
The church is now the "inward Jews" which are Abraham´s
seed and heirs to the promise. If we are Christ´s we are
"spiritual Jews". The Sabbath is for everyone that is
Christ´s. In MARK 2:27 Christ says, "And he said unto them,
The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath:"
