"Her priests have violated my law, and have profaned mine
holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and
profane, neither have they shewed difference between the unclean and
the clean, and have hid their eyes from my sabbaths, and I am
profaned among them."
- NOTE:
- Today people make no difference
between the holy and the common. They have taken one of the common days
and tried to make it holy and have made common a day that God calls
holy. Sunday is one of the days that God calls working days EZEKIEL 46:1
"Thus saith the Lord God; The gate .... shall be shut the six
working days; but on the sabbath it shall be opened, ...." (See
also: EXODUS 20:9; 34:21 and EZEKIEL 23:3)
- God does not hold a person responsible until
the Holy Spirit has given that person an opportunity to know of the
truth. If that person still chooses to go his own way, then it becomes
sin.
- Sunday, a day associated with and named for
the pagan "Sun Day", was the day on which the pagans worshiped
the sun. This, as well as the fact that Sunday is a man-made
"Lord´s day", should be enough to help one see that this
is truly Satan´s counterfeit day of worship.
- After studying about the seventh-day
Sabbath, one should sincerely ask themself, "Am I keeping the first
day of the week because the Holy Spirit continues to convince me that
this is truly God´s holy Sabbath, or am I keeping it because my
pastor or friends have told me that it doesn´t matter what day,
just as long as I keep one in seven?"
- If the Holy Spirit has spoken to your heart
about the Sabbath, respond by saying, "Yes, I will keep the
seventh-day Sabbath holy."
- It does matter what day is kept for the
Sabbath and that day is the seventh!
