Christ The Creator
- John 1:
- 1 IN the beginning
was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was
God.
- 2 The same was in the
beginning with God.
- 3 All things
were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was
made.
- 4 In him was life;
and the life was the light of men.
- 14
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us,(and we
beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the
Father,)full of grace and truth.
- 15 John bare witness of him,
and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake,He that cometh
after me is preferred before me: for he was before me.
- NOTE:
- John states, the
Word was with God, the Word was God, the
Word was made flesh, and all things were made by Him. Christ is
the One that was human (made flesh), so Christ is the One who
created us. This conclusion is verified by Ephesians 3:9 below.
- Ephesians 3:
- 9 And to make all
men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning
of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus
Christ:
- Hebrews 1:
- 8 But unto the
Son he saith,Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre
of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
- 9 Thou hast loved righteousness,
and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with
the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
- 10 And, Thou, Lord, in the
beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the
works of thine hands:
- NOTE:
- Here God the Father is stating
that His Son is the One who laid the foundation of the earth and created
the heavens. Just think of it, Christ is the One who made all those vast
heavenly stars!
- Colossians 1:
- 13 Who hath delivered
us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom
of his dear Son:
- 14
In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of
sins:
- 15 Who is the image of the
invisible God,the firstborn of every creature:
- 16 For by him were all things
created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and
invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or
powers:all things were created by him,and for him:
- 17 And he is before all things, and
by him all things consist.
- NOTE:
- Christ is the One who made
this world and everything that is in it. He made us, no wonder we can
trust His holy word for instructions in how to live healthy and happy
lives.
