Christ In Early History

Colossians 1:
13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear son:
14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

NOTE:
As was discovered in Chapter 03 and reviewed in the previous texts, God’s Son was the One that created all things. Christ is our Creator.
Notice that in the following texts that the One who made or created the heavens and the earth is the One that “didst divide the sea before them, so that they went through the midst of the sea on the dry land,” “leddest them in the day by a cloudy pillar, and in the night by a pillar of fire,” “camest down also upon mount Sinai,” and “gavest them ... commandments.”

Nehemiah 9:
6 Thou, even thou, artLordalone; thou hast madeheaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things that are therein, the seas, and all that is therein, and thou preservest them all; and the host of heaven worshippeth thee.
11 And thou didst divide the sea before them,so that they went through the midst of the sea on the dry land; and their persecutors thou threwest into the deeps, as a stone into the mighty waters.
12 Moreover thou leddest them in the day by a cloudy pillar;and in the night by a pillar of fire,to give them light in the way wherein they should go.
13 Thou camest down also upon mount Sinai, and spakest with them from heaven, and gavest themright judgments, and true laws, good statutes and commandments:

NOTE:
The Mighty God of Heaven that was leading the Children of Israel was Christ. He is the One that led them through the Jordan and Christ is the One who spoke and wrote the Ten Commandments law on Mount Sinai. Christ then came to this earth and demonstrated how to live those commandments.

1 Corinthians 10:
4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual rock that followed them: and that rock was Christ.

Micah 5:
2 But thou, BethlehemEphratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forthunto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.

2 Corinthians 5:
19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

NOTE:
Christ’s “goings forth” were on this earth from the very beginning. From the very beginning of this earth’s history (His Story), Christ has been right here reconciling us to His Father. Christ has done the ultimate to reconcile us to His Father, He has given His life for you and me.
