The McDonald Road Adventurer Club spent Oct. 11-13, 2019 at the Adventurer Family Fun Weekend at Cohutta Springs. This event is hosted by Georgia-Cumberland Conference and brings clubs from around the conference—and the families in them—together for a fun weekend. Attendees camped in tents, rode horses, paddled canoes, visited the petting zoo, bounced in large inflatables, and made crafts, among many other activities.

“This is our first year in the Adventurer Club and Jayden and Autumn have really enjoyed being part of it. The Family Fun Weekend at Cohutta Springs was a great adventure. The kids become closer to their friends and had a memorable time. I was very impressed with the organization and all the events they held for the kids,” shared Ashley Lucas, a parent from the McDonald Road Church club. “My favorite part was watching my kids develop deeper relationships with their club and the family bonding time we had together.”
