10 Days of Prayer
We invite you to start the new year with 10 Days of Prayer, January 11-20, here at McDonald Road. The nightly meetings will begin at 7:00 pm.
Reading through the Bible in 72 Hours
Join us to publicly read through the Bible in one continuous reading around the clock starting on Friday, December 30th at 8 am through January 1st. We encourage you and your family of readers to sign up for a time slot of 30 minutes to an hour on one or more of the days. Feel free to spend time hearing the word read aloud throughout the weekend. Ways to be involved: 1. Be a reader 2. Be a listener (come and go as you desire) 3. Donate bottled water and snacks for those who wish to stay for an extended time hearing the word. This will take place at the Commons. For more information contact Elizabeth Roth at 423-316-5164. Sign ups are available on the Connect FB page and also through the google sheets.
Piano lessons for beginner to intermediate are available. If you are interested, call Carol Harrison at 423-779-7459.

Volunteers Needed for Chattanooga Community Kitchen
McDonald Road Church frequently provides breakfast for the homeless. For details or to get involved, contact Todd Lawson email@example.com or (256)318-6824. Junior age and older are welcome. You can support this outreach by marking your tithe envelope, “Community Kitchen.”
Need for Mentors
Do you enjoy mentoring young people? Do you need help around the house – or just companionship? The Partnering for Eternity (PFE) Scholarship Program has been helping cultivate relationships between mentors and students at SDA schools since 2006, with the goal of creating intergenerational relationships. Mentors receive a one-hour weekly visit from a child, who is accompanied by a parent/guardian. The child receives mentorship from you and a PFE scholarship to help with school tuition. If you are interested in serving as a mentor, please contact the church office.
