Gaither Music Celebration: On Sabbath, Oct 15, McDonald Road Church will have a Special Vespers celebrating the music of Bill and Gloria Gaither. It will be a mix of congregational singing and special numbers from our church family. If you have a song by either Bill or Gloria Gaither that you or your family would like to perform, contact Bill Richards at e.william.richards@gmail.com. The best-known works will likely be taken sooner than later, so promptness will likely ensure your song is still available.

DivorceCare, a program offering hope and healing, will run Friday evenings September 9 through December 2, 5:00-7:30 pm, in the Focus Room at Collegedale Church. For more information, text Ana Ferriera (941) 726-4475.

Women’s Ministries Day Retreat: Sabbath, October 29, 10:00 am-4:30 pm, at Occasions on the Square, Rogersville, TN. Laura Snyman, SDA Social Worker, will present “Joy in Jesus” – how a joyful attitude can change how we exist, function, and navigate life’s issues. Come learn how to have joy more abundantly! Health Seminar: You are invited to STRONG IMMUNITY AND THE POWER OF FITNESS where you will learn about inflammation and the Immune System, Strength Training, Cardio and Weight Loss, and Vaccinations and the Immune System at the Ooltewah SDA Church, Sept 28-Oct 1 at 7pm. What do Hay, Banjos, and Soup have in common? A barn party! The social committee is hosting its annual barn party November 5th beginning at 6:30 pm at the Farrow barn. Mark your calendars and join us for a great time of music, food, and fellowship. More info to follow in the coming weeks.

Firewood, Pumpkins, and Mums, Oh My! Do you have more firewood than you can use? The social committee would like to have a bonfire at our next barn party and is in need of firewood.
